Our story
Zanzibar Tech Africa was founded by a small team of local engineers and designers who saw hotels, tour operators and shops across the island relying on outdated, generic websites and software built without any understanding of how business is actually done here.
Since then we’ve grown into a full-service technology partner — from custom software and e-commerce to mobile apps, digital marketing and IT consultancy — working with hotels, NGOs, government offices, and entrepreneurs across Zanzibar, Tanzania and the wider continent.
